Blended (film)

Blended is a 2014 American romantic comedy film directed by Frank Coraci and written by Ivan Menchell and Clare Sera. Starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore with an ensemble cast featuring Bella Thorne, Emma Fuhrmann, Terry Crews, Joel McHale, Wendi McLendonCovey, Kevin Nealon, and Shaquille ONeal, the film was released on May 23, 2014.

Divorcee Lauren Reynolds Drew Barrymore, who has two sons, Brendan Braxton Beckham and Tyler Kyle Red Silverstein, meets Jim Friedman Adam Sandler, a widower with three daughters, Hilary Bella Thorne, Espn Emma Fuhrmann, and Lou Alyvia Alyn Lind on a blind date. The date ends in a disaster due to Jims clumsy and careless attitude and Laurens perfectionist nature along with the fact that they have their date at Hooters.The next day at work Lauren talks about her experience to her friend Jen Wendi McLendonCovey who reassures her by saying that everyone has a bad blind date and asks who set the date up to which Lauren replies that it was the mother of one of Tylers classmates. Jen then suggests Lauren to try on a black dress which Lauren does so earning her the remark that she looks better than expected. Lauren tearfully begins lamenting that she should have tried dressing better when she was married to her exhusband. This causes Jen to assert that her Laurens ex is a pig and a concerned Lauren states that even her children are unaware of their fathers irresponsibility. ........
